#BlackLivesMatter
As the world faces the deadly pandemic another one approaches; the sudden exponential rise of the already existing concept of superiority and inferiority. A few days back, a black man named George Floyd was murdered by the Minneapolis Police Department for no absolute reason. A thunderous uproar has risen around the world demanding justice for this in-humane act. The world couldn't get worse is it? In such tough and gripping times, the well-off can't stay quiet
, when the worst suffered, are these poor souls.
It's so disheartening to see acts that script the heights of the so called "White supremacy". Following this incident the police officers were fired and millions started protests to shed light on the unfair treatment of such unfortunate people. But simply firing the officers and brushing the uproar beneath the blanket isn't enough. Justice should be served. Often people forget to look upon the fact that this starts a saga on the re-rise of "Superiority". There has been three such incidents in the past 5 months all of which the victims were black and the murderers being white. Such a disparity can also be seen in the case of COVID-19. Blacks and the indigenous people are the worst affected by the pandemic in US as majority of this population can't afford the sky-rocketing costs of treatment; this resulted in these people contributing to the death and infection toll the most.

We live in an entangled world yet which is ruled by selfishness and hostility. It looks like the world isn't happy yet with all the challenges posed by the pandemic. As OSHO rightly quoted -
Nobody is superior, nobody is inferior, but nobody is equal either. People are simply unique, incomparable. You are you, I am I. I have to contribute my potential to life; you have to contribute your potential to life. I have to discover my own being; you have to discover your own being.
Voices shouldn't be silenced, in such times that never arise. As many saw the video of Floyd, they cried like he was their's. They felt the loss like he was their's and they stood by him like he was their's. "I can't breathe" were not only the words of George Floyd, but of the millions who watched the video and the millions of people suppressed and oppressed of their rights and fundamentals.

Another great blog Rohan! I liked your understanding and apt usage of the Osho quote..."..I have to discover my own being; you have to discover your own being..."..I look forward to that world!
